About
In the shadowy fringes of The Colony Carnivale, where twilight devours daylight and desires turn deadly, Judy and Gid prowl for willing souls. Raised as twisted twins by a man who broke them beyond repair, they spend the day luring thrill-seekers, dosing them with hallucinogens and dragging them into a nightmarish spectacle of sex, torture, and slaughter.
But as The Colony's main event, Delirium, unfolds in a frenzy of blood play, crucifixion, and cannibalistic ecstasy, a spectral figure haunts the edges. An unknown clown with a savage smile who vanishes like smoke while leaving chaos in her wake. Is she a ghost, a curse, or something far more carnal?
This erotic horror novella will plunge you into the abyss of human depravity. Buckle up for a deranged ride of masked mayhem, drug-fueled depravity, and forbidden pleasures that might just Coax you to The Colony's eternal embrace. Perfect for fans of extreme horror who crave the gruesome intertwined with the erotic.

Thank you to the author and organizers for this read! Round two of depravity. “Brothers” Gid and Judy’s turn. These two are quite the team. Very grotesque. The author gave quite the descriptions! -two orphans -drugging -cannibalistic -painted men
View on Goodreads✨🖤Coax🖤✨ Author: SB Rogue ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This book was so fun! It was creepy, but in a good way! Judy and Gid were so perfect. I was questioning so much throughout this story. The spice was spicin, and the gore was goring. I didn’t realize how hot I would get from a horror carnival, but here I am, panting. And they did what to that man?! That’s how it ended!? I can’t wait for the next part with Judy and Gid, along with a little lady! Absolutely recommend this book!
View on GoodreadsCoax is the second book in The Colony Carnivale. This one follows brothers Judy and Gid, which, trust me, they might just be the tag team from hell. They're here to tempt you and encourage you to partake in the events in the Carnivale. Even offering you special tickets with extra benefits. But you have to play a game for them. And you won't know it until it's too late, but the games are rigged and you won't ever win. You do get to participate, however, just not in the way you thought. You're no longer there as a guest. Now, you're a main attraction. I found this one to be a little darker and more depraved than the first and maybe that's what drew me in. I feel like I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first. I am actually looking forward to jumping into the third one now.
View on GoodreadsWell, it’s my own fault really 😂 I slipped straight into this read and instantly loved the vibes. Following Gid and Judy as they greet people, load them into their Mastodon and take them to the Carnivale was such a fun way to start. I loved their little walk around, chatting with the other members of the Carnivale and rousing up the ticket holders. I was honestly just completely vibing with it. I love both Gid and Judy, and the little mentions of the killer clown had me intrigued… Then that scene happened. My eyes shot open because I’d almost forgotten what kind of book I was reading 😂 Well… what a shock. The blunt knife moment actually made me put my Kindle down for a second, only to pick it back up and reread it because surely I hadn’t just read what I thought I’d read?! Nope. I absolutely did. And what followed… well, that may have been a little too much for me. I know. Me. Shocked. Unfortunately, it was my limit. It was so well written, so colourful, so intense and completely unapologetic but that was where I had to tap out a little. I guess that’s what you get when you willingly dive headfirst into splatterpunk! And yet, somehow, despite the absolute show Gid and Judy put on, I still love them. I genuinely want to know more about them and explore their story. Maybe just… without quite so much drug-fuelled, gore-filled sex fest. But I suppose if you want to love Gid and Judy, you have to take the good with the very, very bad! 🎪🩸
View on GoodreadsI absolutely LOVED this story! What a dark, twisted, and completely unhinged ride! Judy and Gid are the ultimate team from hell, luring you straight into a Carnival from hell and honestly, you won’t want to leave. The descriptions were SO vivid that I felt like I was right there inside the creepy carnival, surrounded by the chaos and madness. And Judy and Gid?! Absolutely deranged. Their twisted thoughts and unhinged actions made this story even more disturbing, addictive, and impossible to put down.
View on GoodreadsJudy and Gid are two different halves to a depraved coin. Orphans bought as "specialty items" and brought to live at The Carnivale. Brothers in every since of the word! They are smooth talking hotties that ooze sexuality. Using their charm to find attractions for the Delirium. Offering drugs and the best organisms of their lives. Let me tell you the depravity knows no bounds. I had no clue a saint andrew's cross could be used in such ways. Was I giggling and totally absorbed in all the fucked up things going on in this book... yes yes I was. Do I want to go for a ride in the Mastodon.... absolutely, but only as a spectator!!! I like my nipples where they are thank you very much!!

The closer to darkness, the better. Sunlight is for honest people and shame. And I want neither.” “Tonight, every dream and every nightmare comes true, if you pay the price.” “Anyone can have the last wild ride of their life if they play their cards right.” 🖤 𝓻𝓮𝓿𝓲𝓮𝔀🖤 COAX: The Colony Carnivale takes everything you think you know about creepy carnivals and throws it straight into the deep end. Judy and Gid are the kind of brothers who make “family trauma” feel like a massive understatement, and watching the two of them manipulate, lure, and torment their victims creates an incredibly unsettling atmosphere. The combination of psychological horror, erotic darkness, drugs, twisted desire, and increasingly brutal violence makes this feel like a fever dream you absolutely should not want to wake up from. And just when you think you’ve figured out the rules of the Carnivale, the mysterious clown woman adds another layer of intrigue that kept me questioning what was real and what was part of the nightmare. *spoilers* Brothers, Judy and Gid, were raised in a world of abuse and depravity, morphing them into something far more dangerous than ordinary carnival performers. Now, they use manipulation, drugs, seduction, and violence to lure unsuspecting victims into their twisted playground. Not lure… COAX. What begins as a night of forbidden thrills quickly descends into a nightmare of sex, psychological torment, bloodshed, and grotesque violence. But when a mysterious clown woman begins appearing throughout the Carnivale, nothing is quite as it seems. And soon reality becomes increasingly distorted, as the predators may soon discover they’re not the only ones hunting in the shadows. Someone else has made their presence known. 🖤𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓵𝓵🖤 What really worked for me was how unapologetically dark, depraved, and over-the-top this story is that it doesn’t shy away from making its characters uncomfortable, the situations disturbing, or its gore downright nasty. Rogue writes the carnival as if it almost feels like a character on its own, swallowing everyone who enters and turning their curiosity into something much more sinister. If you’re someone who enjoys extreme horror with a little psychological chaos, twisted characters, with a splash of erotic horror, disturbing carnival imagery, and plenty of gore, I’d absolutely recommend adding COAX to your TBR. **no AI was used to generate any part of this review**
View on GoodreadsThis book is book two in the series and you will definitely need to check the trigger warnings this time before giving your ticket to enter into the big tent. This was a dark read with tons of gore, explicit sexual content and holy smokes I enjoyed every second of it (might be the delirium might just be the dark side of me) either way I couldn’t get enough and didn’t want to put it down (but adulting happens and work beckoned) and wasn’t ready for the cliffhanger at the end.
View on GoodreadsTo die for Ladies & Gents come let Judy & Gid take you for a ride in more ways than one, either on the double decker party bus or you know. They're a great team and hard to resist, pretty sure they can convince a nun she needs to have some fun. Definitely be warned of this extra dark duo, you're in for a treat but you may not return from it. Either way, I promise you that it's worth the ride! Also can't wait to actually meet the killer clown, think this duo may turn into a trio.
View on GoodreadsWhat in the acid trip from hell did I just read?!?!? SB Rouge I have never read a book of yours before and this was one unhinged bloody gore of a time!!! Gid and Judy may be the most wild characters I have ever read and I thought I read messed up books before!! Hats off to you sir (pun intended). Also what wqs going on with the clown girl? I'm truly intrigued by her and wanna know more!! Gonna end this review with a fun little section I loved from the book!! I take a deep breath. It smells like Fun Dip, if Fun Dip was manufactured in a meth lab, and finished with a sprinkle of baby powder. My nostrils tingle.
